Schedule: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, weekends required.

JOB SUMMARY:  

As a Housekeeping Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the administrative duties of the Housekeeping Department. You will be responsible for inventory of all Housekeeping linen, supplies, etc., including tools and responsible to account for all items of the stock room to ensure par level of each supply.

  • Maintain proper working relations within the department and with other operating departments on property.
  • Ensure that the stock room is neat and organized daily and place all back stock items in appropriate place on shelve or in bins.
  • Collect or coordinate the timely collection of incoming stock, its distribution to the appropriate secured areas to ensure correct inventory always exists.
  • Organizes and files Housekeeping department paperwork, handling daily, weekly, or monthly reporting responsibilities.
  • Create vendor relationship and provide open communication at all times, to achieve the most cost effective but quality materials. Follow up on all supply orders.
  • Abide by all company and housekeeping policies and procedures. 
  • Responsible for learning and meeting all necessary housekeeping requirements for future growth in the department. 

YOUR EXPERIENCE:  

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience
  • Prior inventory experience preferred
  • Accounting or purchasing management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Able to frequently lift supplies and equipment
  • VALID and CLEAN Driver's License record
  • Possess a team player attitude and excellent inter-personal skills
