Job Description

Purpose:

To provide accurate and timely financial information and analysis for the Human Resources and Administrative Services departments, including coordination of budgets and forecasting. Administration and analysis of various data and financial related tasks and projects in support of the HR Operations department.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for tracking, reconciling, and updating the HR and Administrative Services department annual budgets, including quarterly forecasting

• Work with Accounting department to ensure accurate preparation of monthly financial statements for the HR and Administrative Services departments (analyze GL account activity, prepare reclasses, accruals, budget to actual variances and review other supporting documentation as necessary).

• Prepare monthly financial executive summaries for HR and Administrative Services

• Participate in monthly actual to budget financials reviews

• EEO-1 reporting, including any other state required reporting

• Internal Reporting to Risk Management including, but not limited to Business Travel, Crime, Employment Practices Liability Insurance, Fiduciary and Miscellaneous Professional Liability

• Worker’s Compensation audit and payroll projections

• Coordination of HR contracts including tracking and updating

• Analyze components of data including, but not limited to general ledger and various HR metrics

• Support the HR department and senior management with HR related activity

• Provide administrative support to the department and senior management including billing, tracking, invoice processing, coordinating external requests, etc.

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, with department co-workers, field offices, other company departments, vendors and/or agencies

• Special projects and other duties as assigned


Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree or 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• 1-3 years of working in an analytical role with financial information.

• Must have general accounting knowledge, Strong MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro and advanced Excel. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the Company’s HRIS and Accounting systems.
