Compensation: $55,000-$60,000 base salary plus 15% annual bonus potential

As the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department, reporting directly to the Resort Manager. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the housekeeping staff and the overall function of the housekeeping department, following the direction of the Resort Manager.
- Prepare and maintain the daily work schedule for the housekeeping staff, ensuring proper coverage and efficiency.
- Uphold and maintain benchmarks established, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to the front desk, if applicable to the location, to facilitate efficient guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Enforce policies and procedures to maintain quality assurance standards at or above passing levels.
- Coach and counsel housekeeping personnel for career development under the direction of the Manager, assisting with performance appraisals.
- Foster a safe work environment and establish positive working relationships with other departments.
- Manage inventory of room supplies, linens, laundry, and cleaning supplies within the required budget.
- Assist in cleaning and inspecting rooms as necessary to maintain high standards.
- Support the hiring and training of all housekeeping personnel, ensuring a knowledgeable and skilled team.
Your Experience: - 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in housekeeping and laundry operations.
- Direct experience leading a housekeeping department, preferably in the timeshare industry.
- Housekeeping and management training, with a strong understanding of budgeting and inventory controls.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with diverse groups of people and associates at all levels of management.
