Shenandoah Crossing Resort located in Gordonsville, VA seeking a Equestrian Groomer and Guide for their Equestrian Center.

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time hours available, Flexible, includes weekends

JOB SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe transport of guests and the well-being of animals, barn areas, and trails.

• Functions and tasks such as trail rides, guide trail rides, making sure all riders and horses are safe, taking care of the animals/horses on a daily basis.
• Feed, water, groom, and saddle horses.
• Report any illnesses or injuries to the Equestrian Manager.
• Inspection of horse track, inspect all tack before each trail ride, guest/owner relations, ensure the satisfaction of all guests by providing quick and satisfactory service to owners and guests.
• Equipment maintenance and use, and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• High School or Equivalent
• Prior equestrian or farm related experience required
• Customer-oriented and welcoming to guests and other associates.
