Job Description


The Director of Talent Development for Retail Marketing, will serve as a strategic business partner working alongside leadership in uncovering and understanding where the training needs and performance gaps are. To create learning strategies, training plans and curriculum addressing gaps aimed at improving sales and leadership performance with a secondary goal of improving customer service and associates satisfaction. They will oversee field trainers and engage in leadership development and sales training as needed. In addition, they will be instrumental in keeping two way communications flowing with the field, building and adjusting curriculum when needed, and independently measuring results of training and changes in performance by communicating results with senior leadership.
 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years in a learning leadership role with preferred sales training experience
  • Strong ability to partner, collaborate and communication with stakeholders
  • Strong assessment, analysis, facilitation, instructional design and evaluation competencies
  • Project management expertise to prioritize multiple projects at different locations in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to manage strong performing teams
  • Sales training, process, customer service and MS Office Suite.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization. High degree of professional maturity.
