Purpose:
The Director of IT Infrastructure plays a critical role in Bluegreen Vacation’s technical strategy and the infrastructure organization. This role will lead and grow teams that build and manage critical infrastructure that serve our various business units. The role will be responsible for scaling the technical platform necessary to operate a growing company that requires a highly reliable and operationalized platform.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day workload of the engineering and administration teams.
- Drive accountability of the managed service providers.
- Monitor performance on SLAs through regular review and follow up on metrics.
- Ensure operational service gaps are corrected in a timely manner.
- Ensure and monitor that processes are in place to pro-actively protect consistent service quality through acceptable change control and service procedures in line with agreed upon process and standards
- Drive the short & long term technical strategy as it pertains to infrastructure.
- Develop roadmaps and execution plans and be accountable for the outcome of those plans.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders on the completion of projects and roadmaps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Must have at least 10 years of technology experience, with prior leadership, operational, vendor and project management experience.
- Strong operational service delivery expertise
- Strong communication skills throughout all levels of the organization; senior leadership to frontline.
- Strong presentation skills; ability to lead meetings and hold others accountable.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
- Must be able to effectively lead and mentor a team.
