Bluegreen Vacations is undergoing unprecedented growth and as such we have several opportunities for highly driven individuals to join our world class HR organization in Orlando, Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Knoxville, Boca Raton and the Smokey Mountains. 
 

The content developer works closely with the Instructional Designer and wider HR and Learning and Performance Development team to create fit for purpose training content in a variety of mediums including online, video, audio, and PowerPoint.  The role has a key focus on ensuring that all content can be loaded into out eLearning platform and accessed across the business. 
 

Works closely with other HR groups such as Associate Relations, Talent Acquisition and other key leaders and business unit L&D professionals to ensure initiatives are aligned to overarching Talent Management strategies, reducing duplicity, and increasing company-wide learning efficiencies.

This position will be responsible for developing for purpose content for eLearning, mobile learning, in person learning and self-study. 

This role will be considered a subject matter expert in e-learning and all areas of talent programs.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Management, or Industrial Education
  • 3+ years creating content
  • 2 years working with and LMS
  • 2+ years in hospitality or like industry (preferred)
  • Excellent gap analysis, needs assessment, development, presentation, facilitation, evaluation, adult learning principles and follow up skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience in distance learning design and virtual classroom technology
  • Able to execute on strategy
  • Has effective oral, and written skills
  • Must be able to work independently/self-starter
  • Can shift, change, or add priorities quickly
  • Travel and work within the client’s availability
  • Have strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects producing quality and accurate work
  • Has strong interpersonal skills and can work with all leadership levels
  • Be highly detailed, organized, and skilled at proofreading
  • Able to make decisions without first consulting with supervisor
