JOB SUMMARY: 

You will be responsible for assisting in managing the daily Resort operations, maintaining established costs, and Quality standards. Also, you will be responsible for assisting in all board communications, maintaining the Resort's assets, development of Owner, and Guest satisfaction. Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and assisting in all financial responsibilities of the Resort and maintaining good working relationships with Board members. 
 

  • Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, succession planning, counseling, including ongoing training and disciplinary actions, development, and mentoring of leadership and Bluegreen Vacations associates. 
  • Monitor leadership staff of the assigned departments ensuring the level of service and SOP's are followed, and the necessary action to correct deficiencies promptly.  
  • Manage Resort's inventory to attain the highest yield and overall quality. 
  • Ensure safety and compliance in all areas of the Resort's guests and personnel 
  • Promote and foster relationships inter-departmentally and with Resort vendors. 
  • Control costs, adhering to forecasts operating costs are within budgetary guidelines, departmental payroll controls, other expenses while anticipating and documents capital expenditure requirements.  
  • Manage the execution of all activities. Build rapport and understanding of our owners' and guests' needs and provide a vacation filled with surprise and delight. 
  • Enable innovation, drive results, perform inspections to ensure quality. 
  • Ensure standards of communication, association administration, and finance. 
  • Assists in preparing weekly and monthly reports as outlined by the Resort Manager 
  • Performs any other duties deemed necessary by the Resort Manager.  
 

YOUR EXPERIENCE: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of Resort Management, including sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget and forecast management, rooms, housekeeping, and maintenance. 
  • Knowledge of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies 
  • Two years in a Hospitality supervisory or management role in a hotel or Resort with an emphasis on vacation ownership. Timeshare experience preferred. 
  • Daily operations of the front desk, reservations, and problem resolution. 
  • Must be able to develop management staff, planning, and organization skills. 
  • Working knowledge of the Association's governing documents and HOA bylaws. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and Microsoft office experience.
