JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage manages the daily operations of the Food and Beverage (F&B) operations,

  • Coordinates back of the house operations for special events.
  • Assists with hiring, training, scheduling, and continued development of F&B staff.
  • Responsible for performing appraisals of all reporting staff as outlined in SOP’s.
  • Manages the General Store and Deli inventory to attain the highest yield per F&B objectives and conduct daily inventory checks.
  • Manages F&B budget performance by implementing proper F&B controls.
  • Maintains guest satisfaction by implementing and maintaining proper Guest/Owner relation programs including the resort comment card and other grading systems standards.
  • Develops and maintains progress reports and program tracking for management review and communicate programs and results to appropriate parties.
YOUR BACKGROUND:

  • Associates degree required or two year- technical certificate
  • Hands-on culinary experience or strong operational knowledge required
  • 2 Years minimum of F&B experience required
  • At least 1 years of leadership experience in F&B operations
  • Knowledge of Micros preferred
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Hotel or resort experience, preferred
  • Outgoing personality and excellent service orientation
